I’ve read a lot of reviews on this item sadly reading some that said how their product stopped working within days, etc.
I hemmed and hawed about purchasing one for several weeks and looked at a lot of different manufacturers’ products, self-assemble kits, standard wall outlet powered, battery operated (no one could state exactly what kind of battery), etc. etc. I even shopped on eBay.
I ultimately purchased the one reviewed here with “paying a higher price for a better quality product” as my deciding factor. And I haven’t had any horrific experiences with Amazon when it came to a purchase that I wasn’t happy with.
The downside of my manta machine: yes, it came fully assembled except for the unattached slim wooden stick that had a needle-like piece of wire sticking out of one end of it. I thought it was some sort of stylus or something you needed to insert into a hole to start the thing.
Long story short and after lengthy back and forth chats I learned that it was the manta ray’s tail.
No instructions came with my product on the tail assembly, charging, or operation. I obtained my instructions after lengthy back and forth chats with victmax and receiving emailed instructions from the manufacturer 2 days later.
Petty to some of you who read this BUT MY MANTA WORKS GREAT!! Silent, majestic, calming, beautiful. It stays charged for quite a while (I only run mine for an hour here every other day or so when I think of it). I rate mine (and my luck) 4.5 stars, removing a half Star because of my petty critique.
PS I have personally found that this item pairs very well with votive candles, Mozart’s “Serenade in B-Flat Major, K.391”, dark chocolate and a fine (or cheap) Cabernet.

Beautiful craftsmanship. Quiet flow. Very relaxing to watch. The wood colors are classy & timeless. I have additional family & friends that now want one as well. Love it.

My husband loves it. Manta Ray was his high school mascot. Manta ray kinetic is almost like real live in oceans.

The wood and the fit is great. I recommend and will buy again.
